Diane Fuga, 85, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Overlook Medical Center after an extended illness.
Born in East Orange, she grew up in Summit and graduated from Summit High School. She lived in Summit before moving to Scotch Plains.
Diane enjoyed singing, playing cards and trips to Atlantic City. She loved spending time with her family — and adored her German Shepherds, Paris, Black Jack and Brewster.
Her family includes her godchildren, Frank D. Isoldi (and his partner, Daniel Egan) and Lisa Brophy and her children, Jenna and Jonathan; their father, Frank Isoldi, Jr., and her cousin, Tony Delia; his wife, Laura, and

She was predeceased by her husband, James, and her beloved cousin, Edie Isoldi. Visitation was held at Dooley Colonial Home, 556 Westfield Avenue, Westfield, on Tuesday, August 8, and her Funeral Mass was celebrated at the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Westfield on Wednesday, August 9. Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Connie Dwyer Breast Cancer Foundation.
