As a Westfield resident for almost 20 years, I would like to express my whole-hearted endorsement of Dawn Nichol-Manning to be our next council person for Ward 3. I am so impressed and supportive of Dawn that I agreed to volunteer as her campaign manager. I encourage all of my friends, neighbors, and fellow residents to learn more about Dawn and vote for her on November 7.
I know Dawn to be open-minded, fair, and dedicated. I have found her approachable and affable. Dawn is guided by her moral compass and willingness to go against the grain when it is necessary to do so. These qualities have served her well in her life and in her career and will serve her well as a councilwoman.
Council members must address a multitude of issues simultaneously. This requires the ability to evaluate information from numerous sources and discern that which is relevant, material, and important from that which is not. Dawn not only lives these skills but teaches them to our children. As a professionally licensed science teacher, Dawn teaches children how to define issues, appreciate all possible solutions, and systematically evaluate those possibilities based on the information at hand. Dawn has been visiting our neighborhoods all summer hoping to meet as many of her neighbors as possible. I hope she gets to meet you too this summer or this fall. Please consider supporting Dawn Nichol-Manning to be our next council person from Ward 3.
