St. Bartholomew Oldtimers Softball League mourns the loss of Dean Talcott who contributed greatly to the success of the league. Dean played 28 seasons, 17 as captain of St. Joseph. During his time with the League, he led several committees including our Scribes, who report the weekly antics of the Boys of Summer, the infamous St. Bart’s Hecklers, and Sr. Advisor to the Captains and Board. Dean never missed our Labor Day Championship game whether a player or a heckler.
