SCOTCH PLAINS — State Senate President Nicholas Scutari (D22) on Tuesday presented the township council with a check for $1 million that will be earmarked towards construction of the new public- safety complex on Plainfield Avenue. He said he is “always happy to support” the township and called the funds “a very important investment in the people of Scotch Plains.”
