Cougars Silence Tigers, 53-17, In Girls Basketball Cat Fight
Solid defense and effective inside passing put the Cranford High School girls basketball team on the direct path to an overwhelming victory over the Linden Tigers in Cranford on January 3. The 4-4 Cougars’ defense allowed the 3-6 Tigers very little opportunities to get offensive rebounds, while the offense successfully dished out 16 assists en route to a 53-17 triumph.
