MOUNTAINSIDE — The staff at Imagine will offer a free webinar entitled “Talking to Kids about Death and Dying,” to help community members navigate these difficult conversations. It will take place on Thursday, March 14, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Those attending the webinar will learn to: Recognize that grief begins at diagnosis.

Describe how children grieve at different developmental stages.

Develop tools for creating a safe space where children can share their feelings.

Discover ways to navigate conversations about diagnosis, illness and death.

Imagine is a 501c3 that offers grief and loss education and training to the community and free, year-round griefsupport groups for children ages 3 to 18 and young adults ages 19 to 30 who are coping with a loss due to death.
