HARRISONBURG, Va. — Two local residents graduated with honors from James Madison University during commencement exercises in December 2023.

Aliyah Feinberg of Westfield graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management.

Carina Lopac of Scotch Plains graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.

Ms. Feinberg and Ms. Lopac were among more than 1,000 students who received undergraduate and graduate degrees.
