WESTFIELD — Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey’s (JFSCNJ) Lavy House Live Series will present “How to CreateYour Own Windowsill Garden” on Wednesday, May 15, and Thursday, June 20, at 11 a.m. It will take place at the Lavy House, located at 748 East Broad Street, Westfield.
The two-part series will teach participants how to create and care for their garden in their own home, and then share recipes with produce grown in such gardens. JFSCNJ Garden Coordinator Tre Lanier will be the presenter. Mr. Lanier also is an associate in the JFSCNJ Charlotte Shak Food Pantry.
This program is funded by the Lavy House and the Standish Foundation. Light refreshments will be served ( kashruth observed). Ample parking is available in the Temple Emanu-El lot. To register for this program, contact info@jfscentralnj.org or call (908) 352-8375.
