Monday, June 17, police took a report of fraud from a resident. This incident is under investigation.
Tuesday, June 18, Casey Loalbo, 37, of Westfield was arrested and charged with shoplifting merchandise, valued at $109.97, from the Target store, located at 45 Central Avenue. Loalbo was transported to Clark Police Department Headquarters, processed accordingly and subsequently released pending a court date.
Thursday, June 20, police took a report of an attempted burglary to a residence on Riverbend Drive. This incident is under investigation.
Friday, June 21, Vicky Suarez, 28, of Roselle Park was arrested and charged with shoplifting merchandise, valued at $139.03, from the Target store, located at 45 Central Avenue. Suarez was transported to Clark Police Department Headquarters, processed accordingly and subsequently released pending a court date.

Monday, June 3, police were dispatched to a residence on Thomas Street on the report of a stolen bicycle. The victim reported that an unknown individual had stolen a bicycle from their front yard. The victim’s bicycle was equipped with a GPS tracking device and was subsequently located while being operated by a suspect in Roselle. Following an investigation, the suspect was identified as Jareal McCall, 29, of Linden. McCall was charged with theft and issued a Superior Court date.
Friday, June 7, police stopped a gray 2010 Toyota on North Avenue East for several motor vehicle violations. Subsequent to an investigation, police arrested the driver, Melissa Gibbons, 37, of Roselle Park, who was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). Gibbons was processed and provided a municipal court appearance date. In addition, Gibbons was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving, failure to maintain lane and failure to wear a seatbelt.
Wednesday, June 12, police stopped a white Chevrolet on North Avenue near Miln Street for a motor vehicle violation. Subsequent to an investigation, police arrested the passenger, Megan Vinson, 34, of Elizabeth, who was charged with Possession of CDSHeroin. Vinson was processed and provided a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, Vinson was issued a motor vehicle summons for failure to wear a seatbelt.
Wednesday, June 12, police responded to a business establishment within the first block of SouthAvenue West for the report of a shoplifting. Subsequent to an investigation, police arrested Michael Andrews, 36, of Carteret, who was charged with Shoplifting. Andrews was processed and provided a municipal court appearance date.
Sunday, June 16, police located a disabled 2012 white BMW on Lincoln Avenue East at Thomas Street. Subsequent to an investigation, police arrested the driver, Soloman Armstrong, 29, of Plainfield, who was charged with DWI. Armstrong was processed and provided a municipal court appearance date. In addition, Armstrong was issued a motor vehicle summons for failing to submit to breath testing.
