WESTFIELD — The Westfield Area YMCA is offering an SAT Prep course for rising juniors and seniors in preparation for the exam’s new digital testing platform. Classes are virtual and designed to cover both the mathematics and reading and writing components of the SAT. Divided into two, 45-minute sessions, the course will be led by experienced instructors with the goal of furthering students’ understanding of SAT exam material.
The eight-week course, which began June 25 and will continue through August 13, is being held on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sessions are held on Google. Participants meet with a live instructor. The course is open to the community, and a Y membership is not required to register.
It is not too late to sign up. Participants can register at the Main Y Facility, located at 220 Clark Street, Westfield, or online at tinyurl.com/ 3sk86tz3.
