FANWOOD — The Fanwood Memorial Library has announced that it has welcomed Amy Donnadio as the new head of youth services.
Ms. Donnadio is described as being passionate about early literacy and library programming, and believes that, “books have the ability to connect and foster understanding within our community.”
According to Fanwood Memorial Library Director Dan Weiss, the library is very happy to add Ms. Donnadio to its team this summer, and especially moving forward as it begins to transition into the new library space.
Mr. Weiss remarked that he is, “confident that Amy’s background and experience will help our community’s children and families excel, providing many opportunities for enrichment and growth.”
Ms. Donnadio comes to the library from a long career at the Scotch Plains Public Library, where she most recently served as a youth services librarian. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Kean University and earned her Masters in Library Science from San Jose State University in 2021.
