Blue Devils Blank Cranford In Soccer Season Opener, 4-0
Offensive punch may have been a bit of a concern for the Westfield High School girls soccer team last year despite outscoring opponents, 54-10, recording 11 shutouts and winning the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 title to finish 16-2. But that concern diminished greatly in their home opener against Cranford when they jumped on the Cougars from the very beginning and cruised to a 4-0 victory at Gary Kehler Stadium in Westfield on September 4.
