Cardinals Slip by Blue Devils In Thanksgiving Game, 14-9

Extreme wetness dampened the efforts of both teams when the Westfield Blue Devils hosted the Plainfield Cardinals for their 119th meeting on Thanksgiving Day (November 28) at Gary Kehler Stadium in Westfield. But the very first play of the game turned out to be the deciding factor, which would result in a 14-9 Cardinal victory.
