DINOMITE EXPLORATION…Kindergarten and first-grade students at J. Ackerman Coles Elementary School in Scotch Plains explored dinosaurs during the school’s After School Enrichment Program. Children crafted fossils; painted Tyrannosaurus Rex banks; designed dinosaur masks; painted dinosaur cut- outs; and painted and stuffed Triceratops pillows. Students learned about a different dinosaur each week and used a tape measure to see how big and small the creatures were.
