READY FOR A LIFT OFF… The Quick Check New Jersey Festival of Ballooning featured approximately 125 colorful hot air balloons which lifted off the ground and ribboned through the sky at Solberg Airport in Readington on July 23, 24 and 25.

IS HE UNDER THE TAG?…Rob Rowland of the Mattress Factory slides under Dave Rizzo of A. J. Jersey in the fifth inning and is called out on a very close and dusty play. The Mattress Factory defeated A. J. Jersey, 11-4, in the second game of the best of five series and later went on to win the series.
